Tagged

I've been tagged by Chris Hertel/Chrispea on her blog Works For Scraps.  (she's an AMR member)   And I want to apologize because I forgot all about doing this.  And if you go to her BLOG, she has some really cute Christmas journaling spots... Really cute!!
(The rules….link your tagger and list these rules on your blog. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.)

Here's 7 facts about me:
1.     We traveled the world when I was younger for my Dad's Drag Racing Career. (loved it!)
2.     I've been married to my childhood sweetheart for 32 years.
3.     I'm an addicted to All Moments Remembered MB kinda person
4.     My favorite holiday is Christmas (lots of scrappy present)
5.     I love fried spam
6.     I don't cook the Thanksgiving turkey anymore, my DH does on the BBQ
7.     My first car was a 340 Plymouth Duster that I loved to race.
Instead of tagging people that probably already did this, I tag all visitors to my blog if their interested...

GRATITUDE

This album I made from the instructions on Heidi Swapp's blog.  You get the front cover pp and some journaling spots, tags, etc.
I used a mailing box for the front and back, covered them with the Gratitude pp on the front and some Theresa Collins/Damask on the back.  The ribbon is from my ribbon jar and the manufacturer is unknown.  I used cardstock for the paper inside and did 3 different sizes.  I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet, maybe some photos from Thanksgiving and have everyone write in it.  Haven't decided yet but I love the way it turned out.  Cute huh?

More from Jessica Sprague's class

These two pictures go with the post before this one for Jessica's class.  The top picture in the inside cover and 1st page.  It show how the album works.  The second picture is a notebook we made to jot down our memories....  Isn't it cute.  Sorry about the pc. of ribbon left on the cover to the notebook.  My OOOOPS!

Jessica Sprague's Class (Stories In Hand)

Here's what I've done so far in Jessica's class.  We printed everything out, tabbed & decorated the album and today we'll learn how to use everything.  This is a tool to help you create, remember & document your stories.  Prompts for remembering your past childhood memories, prompts to help you record your grandparents memories & your parents memories.  Jessica did all the hard work in creating this system.  It will be an awesome asset to me and its something I will use throughout the rest of my life.  It's made to sit near you on your desk, readily available for when its needed.  I'm loving Jessica's class.  You don't have to keep up each day, everythings there to go back over so you can catch up.  Work at your own pace.  And, the course will be available to the ones who registered forever.  This is the first class I've taken at Jessica's and I'm sure I'll be joining more in the future.  Thank you for all your time and hard work you've put into Stories In Hand, Jessica!

Jessica Sprague's Class-2nd day

Here's my album for the 2nd day class at Jessica Sprague's Stories In Hand Class.  I put in the pages we printed, added the cloth tag to the front of the cover and glossy accented the journal center on the front cover.  Also added chipboard tiles by Technique Tuesday under the root, family and self tabs.  Made them stronger.  Don't forget to pay attention to the measurement of the width of each page.  I made my divider pages too wide and the slightly stick out past the cover.  So I'm in the process of cutting them shorter.  I'm very pleased and excited with Jessica's class.  Great instructions/tutorial and she even changed or added some things that alot of us requested.  Such a sweetie.  I would definitely suggest taking one of her classes.

My Album from Jessica Sprague's class today

For anyone doing this class, pay attention to the size of the printed sheets.  Mine are slightly longer and actually stick out past the cover.  Look at Jessica's album and you'll see that the inside pages are 1" or so shorter than the album from left to right.

I love how mine turned out.  Love the pp and divider pages.
Can't wait for the
next one.
