2 ATC's

Here's two ATC's that I finished recently.... Magnolia stamps, prisma pencils and MS.... The Jingle All The Way is for a Christmas in July swap... And the Spring one I just made because I wanted to...  Thats it, I just got back from golfing with my Dadums... We had a good time, Dh went along to take pictures... Afterwards, we went into the clubhouse bar for a drink... I'm so exhausted.. Golfed all 18 holes and I'm not as young as I used to be..  LOL

Excited at Christmas

I don't know who's more excited about Christmas.  Mommy, M or T.  M's ripping through the presents and T's chewing on the ribbon..  And Mommy love opening presents.  Look at how cute and little the two of you were back then.  THis was 82 or 83 at my Mom & Dad's old house.  I can still see the two of you running around, getting into mischief.

And you loved posing for the camera...  You two were great at swimming....  Both fishes in the water...  I loved spending time with you, watching you grow and change. Seeing you laugh and giggle thrilled me to no end....I'm glad I have some pictures to go with my memories of the two of you....

Here's my 3rd page.. Journaling reads:

Harry J. Smith & Patricia R. Bidlack married in Las Vegas in 1954.  My Dad was 6 years older than my Mom.  She was still a teen at the time.  Two years later they had my brother, Gene.  And I was born three years after that in 1959.  My twin was miscarried 3 months into her pregnancy.  Like most couples, they had their ups & downs and eventually divorced.  Around 1991.  Dad now lives on our property and is 77 years old.  Sadly, my Mom died in 2005 at the age of 65.  She had been living in an apartment.  The smaller picture is at our old house on Sunkist in West Covina at Christmas.  Somewhere in the late 70's to early 80's...

The Story Matters Challenge LO

This is a LO I did for a challenge at THE STORY MATTERS/About Me

Journaling:

This is me at the age of 48.  I can say that now because I don't turn 49 until September 10th.  I have to admit I'm not happy with my appearance.  I'm overweight, getting older, have thyroid problem, had a hysterectomy in 1985 and look terrible in most of my clothes.  Yes, I can do something about it but it's hard to start and stick to-dieting exercise & eating healthy.  And having diveriticular disease doesn't help...I'm an emotional eater and just happen to love food.  and I get depressed which makes me want to turn to my comfort food.  I am a scrapbooker who loves to record her families life...It's a passion that makes me extremely happy... And I have the best husband who see's or makes sur that I get to purchase supplies for this passion.

On Mainly Flowers, Joanna's blog, you'll find these flowers..This is what Joanna said, I went to another floral punch craft class with Jane Gill at the Glitter Pot today..As always, had a great time shaping and sticking little pieces of paper together in their lovely bright classroom....

The flowers are a camellia and a azalea.  Joanna has tutorials, cards and pictures of all the flowers she pieces together.... Flower Girl/Jane Gill has just started a blog so visit often to see what news and cards she has done....  To think those are all tiny pieces of punched paper... lovely...

OLW CHALLENGE/IF

Here's what I came up with for the challenge....This picture was taken at San Diego, when we went to Sea World...My DH from a different picture when he was standing on the beach by himself...Took forever to cut and erase the rest of the picture he was in... For some reason, I couldn't get my magic extractor to work... HMMMMM>>> have to go read the tutorial, I guess.....  Oh and I think I spelled the work shining.... Does it have one or two n's?  LOL  I always have at least one word spelled wrong on a digi LO.... Guess I should try using spell check more often.... I forget to use it when I'm really involved in a digi LO... LOL

Journaling:

FEARLESS LEADER

Well, our fearless leader STACEY/AMR owner, will be at CHA oogling at all that scrap goodiness....She'll be meeting Heather, Jenn and Julie IRL for the first time....So exciting...  It's the kinda place that you just get heart palpitations over.... Have I been to a CHA before, you ask?  NO!  But I have been to a scrapbooking convention and I'll bet the feeling is close... All that eye candy to gaze upon.  What do I want, oooh gotta go back for that, don't want to spend all my money until I see everything...  ANd the, where was that item I wanted to buy... OMG!  I should have wrote down what booth it was in...  LOL  And the greatest part as far as I'm concerned is that Stacey will be looking for products that she knows we will like... She always asks us what we want stocked in her store...  I call that smart... Cater to your customers...
