New Digi Lo

Here's a LO I created using a kit from Scrapbook Demensions online magazine. It was created by Tallula Moon Designs & The Scrap Professor. Its perfect for all the pictures from the aquarium at Sea World.

One LO & two tags

SCH at AMR tonight. We had a progressive lo challenge. I love doing these. We're told what to place on our LO's but we're not supposed to adhere anything down until the end. There were 20 things we had to do. This is what I came up with. The picture is our DS blowing out the candles on his bday cake from today. He just turned 30. It was just yesterday that he was playing hide and seek with the curtains, hitting the baseball to his Dad and eating a popcicle in his high chair with it dripping down his arms. And he told us just the other day that their expecting a baby in Jan or Feb. Whoooo Hooo! A new grandbaby will be in the house. I feel some spoiling coming on... (Heeee hee)

MAELIA DESIGN'S DIGI KIT & A NEW LO

Here's a new kit from Maelia Design's, Pretty Music, that I got from Digiscrapaddicts. They have a contest called SYTYCD (so you think you can design) that Maelia's a contestant for and members get to download all of the kits in the contest for free. You do have to be a registered member. You can also go to Maelia's blog, Maelia Design's. (her blog is in French so you'll need to put her blog addy in google translate) And Maelia has her kits for sale at Digital-Cre. (look in the right side bar for Maeli'a name, click it and you'll be taken to her kits, also a kit under July) You should really check out her gorgeous kits. I love her kit designs!

ARGGGGGH MATEY LO & QP

Here's a LO and a QP that I just finished. The kit I used I've had for at least a year. It's from Scrap Girls and is called Buried Treasure by VRA. I'll link it later.

New LO and QP

Here's a QP I made today. The frame, flourishes, dream and whale are Oodles of Doodles by SNF. The papers I created myself. You can get it HERE.

And this is the LO that the QP came from. My DGS at Sea World looking into the big tank.

This is my son and his beautiful girlfriend. They were waiting for us and the kids (grandkids) to finish getting their picture taken with the person penguin at Sea World. The kit I used is from the Digiscrapaddicts SYTYCS contest. The contestants were supposed to use a Beattles song for the title. Kit created by Amy Stoffel. I can't find a link to any blog.

MAELIA DESIGN'S DIGI KITS

I just bought 4 of Maelia Designs kits. These kits are big!

I created the LO and the QP from a kit I got at DigiscrapAddicts which was made by Maelia Designs. There's a contest where she had to make a themed kit each week. She makes the most beautiful kits that I've ever seen. You can see her blog here at, Les-Petits-Scraps de Maelia Designs, she might have some freebie QP's. I bought the kits at DigitalCrea, (all under $6 each) it's in french so you might want to get it translated at google translate. But, you have to purchase the kits on the original french page and be registered too.

New Digi Lo

Here's a new digi LO that I created with a kit from Digital Creations called, GentilCoquelicot by Maelia Designs. This is me playing frisbee. My family and I were playing in the grass outside our hotel. Beautiful setting along the bay in San Diego. I love this kit. Love the colors and the whimsical feel it has. My DD says it reminds her of Alice In Wonderland.

3 DIGISCRAPDESIGN LO'S

All 3 LO's were created with the DIGISCRAPDESIGNS Collaboration Kit, FRESH GREENS.  I've used Oodles of Doodles from ScrapNFont for the flourish on Waiting For Dad and on the dark green foliage on the Cheeto's & Birds LO.  Everything else is from the Fresh Greens Kit.

DIGISCRAPDESIGN CHALLENGE!! **HYBRID**

What is hybrid scrapbooking? Very simply it is combining traditional and digital elements on a scrapbooking page. That's it. Any combination of digital and traditional elements on a scrapbook page would be considered to be hybrid scrapbooking. HERE is a great article covering many hybrid possibilites. 

So my challenge for you this week is to Go HYBRID!! Create any hybrid project. It can be a full layout, a card, a mini album, or an alter project just as long as it combines both digital and traditional elements. HERE is a hybrid mini album that I made, as an example. 

Entries should be posted in the DigiScrapDesign Gallery and linked back to this thread. The deadline to complete this challenge would be next Sunday 5/24 at 11:59 pm est. The winner will be chosen by the designers here at DigiScrapDesign and posted on Monday 5/25 along with the new challenge.

I've been working with this kit along with the rest of the DIGISCRAPDESIGN CT'S.  We love everything about it, the colors are perfect for this time of year & the embellishments are awesome.  Can be used for a boy or girl and if you go to the FORUM and check it out, you'll find some QP's of this kit that you can get for free so you can see some of the papers and elements.  We're starting to put some completed LO's in the GALLERY of the FRESH GREENS KIT.

 The designers, NLP DESIGNS, STEPHSTER17, VEELANA'S DESIGNS & WACKY SCRAPS DESIGNS did an awesome job when they created this collaboration kit at DigiScrapDesigns.  This kit is gorgeous and is filled with lots of papers and elements.  I love all the  soft colors for all your spring pictures.  And the elements are so cute.

MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS BUTTERFLY WING CHALLENGE

I created this card for the Magnolia-licious Butterfly Wing Challenge their having at the store.

You can find the challenge in the card gallery under Butterfly Wing Challenge.  I loved how the challenge made me think about what I wanted to create.  I enjoy using material on a card even though it takes more work.   The white patches are clouds and the yellow peony is actually the sun.  To some it might all look like a flower.  The gathered blue is the pond.   I really pleased with how it turned out.

DIGISCRAPDESIGN

This was created with CHERRY ON TOP by Veelana Designs.  Romantic colored pp with rich colors.  Cute ribbon, strawberry, cherries and a cupcake. (flowers & leaves by j3 designs, brush jessica sprague, away)
This was created with a Veelana Designs kit called POLKA DOTS.  Lots of cheery spring colors, polka dots and frames.  
This was also created with the POLKA DOTS KIT by Veelana Designs.  This shows the variety of pictures that could be used with a kit. (the brush that was used is by jessica sprague, away & branches, j3 designs)
This LO was created using NLP Designs APPLE BLOSSOM KIT.  Soft colors of pink, yellow and green.  Cute flowers and some stitching are a perfect match for this kit.  I layered the stitching side by side to create the mesh look.
This is a NLP Designs kit that was given as a freebie during the grand opening.  Its not available in the store & the link has expired but I wanted to show what I did with this kit.  I ghosted the larger image, used some brushes by Scrappers Guide to erase the border.  I also used the stamp brush and erased some of the red pp to get some of the green to show through.  (flowers & leaves by j3 designs)
