Building The Swing Set For J

Journaling:  The swing set that Mema put together with Mommies help.  Poppy and Mema gave the swing set to J for his 5th birthday.  It was hot and the first time I've ever built a swing set but  seeing J play on it was priceless.

This was fun to create.  First time using crackle paint, rubbed ink over the top to highlight the cracks and I love the effect.  I've used a mask with paint but this time I used ink and I think it looks better, softer.

Linda's challenge at AMR's crop is hidden journaling.....This is a LO about DH, DD, DGK (1) & DGK (2)  DD & DH decided to play a trick on DGK (2), I think it was around Halloween...They told him he needed a shot and got this metal skewer and the syringe that dr's. give for medicene..... He then proceeded to give #2 a shot and put ketchup on his arm at the same time.... The pictures show all this and what happened... Notice DGK (1) laughing in the 2nd pic on the right side.... Thats because they did the same thing to him a year or so ago.......I wasn't involved, just decided to take the pictures....Poor baby.....
