Hey everyone.... I forgot to mention, stupid of me..... I have a SCRAP-PAL.. We met through All Moments Remembered.  Come register and find yourself on a MB that is the best out there.....Come find a scrap pal for yourself......My scrap-pal is Jackie and you can find out all about her here.  She's the best.....I'm totally excited that I have a cyber friend that has a passion for scrapping just like I do.....

I did this LO late last night... It's a digi, which I did on my PSE 6.. I really like this program alot better than 3 & 4, especially 4... I use bridge and 4 kept crashing... I notice there more effects (where the shadows, bevels are) and when using the brushes, the slider's for sizing them work really easy... The other two programs, I'd have to click them 3 or 4 times before I could change the sizing.... The paint bucket selection is smoother in the same way but with the colors....It will be great knowing I can play in PSE not and it won't crash during save as......I especially lik the fact that in Bridge, it will show you all the info. on a selected item....Whoo hooo!

ANyhow, this LO is of Sea World a few weeks ago... Its the dolphin tank...

Journaling:

We all loved seeing the dolphins jump and do the commands that the trainer whistled at them.  Love when they jumped over the rope.  Jordan and Austin didn't understand the part where one of the trainers fell in the water as part of the show. But, they loved to see them splash everyone.  In fact, they wanted to get wet themselves!

Method Playground, Beyond Borders CHallenge

I'm back....

Stayed in San Diego from 4-14 to 4-17.......We stayed at the Del Mar Hotel... We were right on the beach..... Just a few steps from our room..... We could hear the waves all day.... So soothing.... We had a great time walking along the beach and talking.... Had a good dinner at the Poisiden restaurant....Sat outside overlooking the beach... Great atmosphere.....The kids showed up the second night at midnight....So they didn't get that much time on the beach....ANd wouldn't you know, (A) got too close to the water and fell.... The waves started to suck him into the water when they were receding..... He was all wet behind the ears...Him and Daddy got all wet and had to change...Then we took off for Sea World......had lots of fun watching the dolphins and shamu during the shows....Didn't get to see as much as we wanted to because they closed at 6pm but we bought the year pass thats the same price at the day pass so we could go back again... The 2 grandkids loved seeing shamu, they kept calling the other 2 whales, Willie...LOL  We ended up at another hotel over by Mission Bay Beach....The Bahia Resort Hotel...... 2nd floor overlooking the bay.. Our rooms had a separate bedroom, a kitchen and a living room with a balcony.... We actually liked this hotel better.....More room for the grandkids to spread out...The pool was open until 11pm too.....Also had a great resturant....We went to the little amusement park along the beach.....Carnival type rides, lots of shops to buy things at and some restaurants... We all had a good time and enjoyed watching the kids go on the rides.....But, its good to be back home and in our own beds....

As soon as I get these pictures (646) downloaded, I can do some LO's of our trip...So far its taken 4 1/2 hours to download half of them......So, hopefully tomorrow you'll see some on my blog....... 

Building The Swing Set For J

Journaling:  The swing set that Mema put together with Mommies help.  Poppy and Mema gave the swing set to J for his 5th birthday.  It was hot and the first time I've ever built a swing set but  seeing J play on it was priceless.

This was fun to create.  First time using crackle paint, rubbed ink over the top to highlight the cracks and I love the effect.  I've used a mask with paint but this time I used ink and I think it looks better, softer.

Linda's challenge at AMR's crop is hidden journaling.....This is a LO about DH, DD, DGK (1) & DGK (2)  DD & DH decided to play a trick on DGK (2), I think it was around Halloween...They told him he needed a shot and got this metal skewer and the syringe that dr's. give for medicene..... He then proceeded to give #2 a shot and put ketchup on his arm at the same time.... The pictures show all this and what happened... Notice DGK (1) laughing in the 2nd pic on the right side.... Thats because they did the same thing to him a year or so ago.......I wasn't involved, just decided to take the pictures....Poor baby.....
