My friend,
Chrispea/Work for Scraps from AMR gave me this award. The Honest Scrap Award! Thank you, Chris. As you said on your blog, I feel honored you picked me!

Here is how it works....
*Say thank you and give a link to the presenter of the award
*Share “10 Honest Things” about myself
*Present the award to 9 other bloggers whose blogs I find brilliant in content and/or design or to those who have encouraged me
*Be sure to tell the 9 bloggers chosen that you are giving them the Honest Scrap award and provide the guidelines for them
Here are my 10 honest things........
1. I didn't think it would bother me but when I turned 50 last month, it hit me hard a few days after my bday. Aging doesn't bother me normally, its a natural process. I've been a Mema for 7 years so I knew I was getting older. My kids are 28 & 30 and I have another grandchild due in January. Turning 30 & 40 didn't bother me either. Maybe because its a half way mark in life. Well, I hope I live another 50 years!
2. My family is the most important thing to me. I probably don't let them know that enough, but I love all of them dearly.
3. I love to scrap, create & take pictures. It is so rewarding to take pictures of my family together and then be able to sit down, create a layout or album and tell the story of that day or event. Then to look through the album, read the notes or little stories that go with a certain day-I relive the moment, brings a smile to my heart.
4. I graduated mid-term and was able to walk with my graduating class
5. I wanted to be a lawyer when I graduation but knew I was lousy at arguments so had decided to be a teacher. But, getting pregnant a couple years after getting married and then again 1-1/2 years later just made it hard.
6. When I was a teenager, we traveled all over the United States. My Dad was a well known dragracer (Granddaddy Joe Smith/King Rat) in the 70's and we went to most of the races. (that was his job!) And he was very good at it. He was THE MAN to beat in those days!
7. I feel very fortunate to have some very special friends that I've met at All Moments Remembered and online through scrapbooking, cardmaking and my stamp craze. I learned some valuable lessons and was encouraged to create. And the inspiration was amazing and still is.
8. When computers came out I said I'd never use one. My Dad was trying to get me to try his but I refused. Then, I asked if I could borrow his lap top. I found All Moments Remembered and couldn't turn back. My DH bought me an iMac a few years back and I've been online ever since.
9. I broke my ankle 8 days before Christmas and didn't get surgery until a couple days after we opened our presents. The only good thing about that time was spending time with my family and my DD cooking Christmas dinner....
10. I'm addicted to blogs, blog candy & crops. I've commented on alot of blogs and did scrap page contests to be eligible, even won a few. And crops push me along in creativity when Mr. Mojo has left the building.. LOL
OK, now I get to pick 9 bloggers that I admire. I admire them for lots of reasons. Creativity, strength, humor...
