SNEAK PEAKS OF ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED'S JUNE KIT!!!!

Look at the yummy goodies in these two pictures of the sneak peak for the June Kit at AMR... You can find these on Heather's blog, so check back with her to see more over the next few days.... I will also be showing them....Look at all the sparkly in the LO on the left,  the blue flower.... Hmmmmm, is that the flower or did she add stickles..It looks like it could be an overlay....Love how Heather did the flower...And I love the cute tag and flower in the LO on the left...What a tease Heather is.....

This is my first attempt coloring with mineral oil.... Yep, thats what I used... Cheap and I had it at home... So, basically free....I cut this out, it was scanned from a source book... Garden flowers by Search Press... I used Prisma pencils...  Not too bad for my first time.....Can't wait to get some bigger stamps to color......

Here's three boxes I altered for storing my scrap supplies....   of the boxes are the ones that carried a bunch of girl scout cookings.  THe other one is a small box that I got some ink in through the mail...  Cute and cheap... LOL

All Moments Remembered Father's Day Challenge and OLW/THINK challenge

Here's a LO for the Father's Day challenge at ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED!!!! (Side bar)  I'm also entering it in the OLW challenge..(in my side bar too) The word is THINK... I still have to add a title and do the journaling.. The large flower on the left page will have the journaling underneath it.....  Ignore the Prima flower on the left page thats just up there all by itself....  Didn't notice it until after the picture and I'm too lazy to redo the posting........  What do you think of the flower placement on the left page.... The prima... Are they placed ok... I haven't added buttons or adhered them yet because I was undecided....

THINKING OF OUR FATHER & DAUGHTER BOND

I think of the love we've shared, our bond as father and daughter throughout my life so far.  The memories wrap around my heart and help to keep it's rythmic beat.  I've had this rythmic beat for about 49 years, which started with my parents (my birth) and has continues on with my husband, children and grand children..  I didn't recognize what it was when I was a little girl but as I grew older, I realized that the beat was steady and strong.

But, i think my Dadum's has a special place in my heart all of his own....

The one on the left is of our DD when she was around, I'm gonna say 7....We used to call her Tweety Bird because her eyes used to be bigger than her face.... The pic is attached to the adore card and it all slides out from under the strip of ribbon...

Journaling:

This is my Mom, Patricia.  But everyone called her, Pat.  This Lo is about the uniform you Mom wears.. Mom's wear more than one uniform.  Mother, cook, house cleaner, gardener, taxi, teacher and friend.  She worked, smoked, drank and lived her life... But the uniform I remember the most was fisherwoman.  This woman could reel in fish while everyone around her didn't even get a bite... She'd have 2 or 3 fish per line... She loved camping and fishing.  She wore shorts and sandals, fished and tanned in the sun.  I couldn't figure out why we quit going to the lake but I think part of it was because she began to get sick.. But nobody really knew how sick.  She was a strong, independent woman and she is missed.....

Shopping

Here's what I bought yesterday while shopping with Samantha...   The water brush and silver brads are from M's...  I went a little die cut crazy at the scrap store... I'm always in awe of that place and I usually won't go cause I know I'll spent lots of $$$... LOL  And I found two new paintables...Isn't the pail album toooo cute....Perfect for our beach stay by Sea World....

Boy, did we shop...

The first one was taken after we ate lunch, right in front of Applebee's...  So after lunch we drove down to the scrapbook store in Ontario... This is a huge store... Lots of oooh's and awe's and I have to have that......I had a blast with Samantha and look forward to many more excursions into shopping......
