I'm back....

Stayed in San Diego from 4-14 to 4-17.......We stayed at the Del Mar Hotel... We were right on the beach..... Just a few steps from our room..... We could hear the waves all day.... So soothing.... We had a great time walking along the beach and talking.... Had a good dinner at the Poisiden restaurant....Sat outside overlooking the beach... Great atmosphere.....The kids showed up the second night at midnight....So they didn't get that much time on the beach....ANd wouldn't you know, (A) got too close to the water and fell.... The waves started to suck him into the water when they were receding..... He was all wet behind the ears...Him and Daddy got all wet and had to change...Then we took off for Sea World......had lots of fun watching the dolphins and shamu during the shows....Didn't get to see as much as we wanted to because they closed at 6pm but we bought the year pass thats the same price at the day pass so we could go back again... The 2 grandkids loved seeing shamu, they kept calling the other 2 whales, Willie...LOL  We ended up at another hotel over by Mission Bay Beach....The Bahia Resort Hotel...... 2nd floor overlooking the bay.. Our rooms had a separate bedroom, a kitchen and a living room with a balcony.... We actually liked this hotel better.....More room for the grandkids to spread out...The pool was open until 11pm too.....Also had a great resturant....We went to the little amusement park along the beach.....Carnival type rides, lots of shops to buy things at and some restaurants... We all had a good time and enjoyed watching the kids go on the rides.....But, its good to be back home and in our own beds....

As soon as I get these pictures (646) downloaded, I can do some LO's of our trip...So far its taken 4 1/2 hours to download half of them......So, hopefully tomorrow you'll see some on my blog.......
