Will be gone tomorrow with my DH... He has to get a test done.... Since he can't do the treadmill test, they're supposed to do a different one....Then on Thursday he goes in for lumbar surgery and I will be staying at the hospital with him.... This is the beautiful view I had from my kitchen window today.......It's cold, windy and stormy but who doesn't love a rainbow......  You can hear the wind howling and blowing the branches of our tree, which sits next to our bedroom....It's actually kinda peaceful.....Especially while scrapbooking and listening to some music.......Hope everyone's Sunday is relaxing and peaceful........

Went to the expo down in Costa Mesa this Saturday.... My DD and my best friend Cecile went with me.... First time to one and was in the OOOOOH mode with all the different booths.......

First pic, DD looking at all Japanese related items... She taught english for a year at a day care center in Fukioki, Japan (probably spelled wrong).  She went right after she graduated from high school.

A few things I bought.... John Deere album is a license plate album....Too cute.. Dh collects tractors... The square album is a matchbook album I got for $1.50... So I bought 2......I also bought a acrylic tag album (med.) and a acrylic album with tabs..........It was fun... But, later on when we went to eat I found my pocket purse was left with the zipper open..... I pulled it out of my purse and walked to the restuarant... When we got there I went to the bathroom... When we came out I noticed the zipper was open.........I normally don't loose my money, I spend it.... But I didn't see alot I wanted to buy because I knew Stacey was going to get new stuff....ANd I couldn't find the $$$ so I paid for someones dinner.... I have to go back out to the car and see if its out there somewhere.... Its daylight soooooooo maybe it will be there.....I'm mad, po'd and disappointed... I was going to spend the rest at All Moments Remembered..............Started with $300, gave DD $80.... I don't think I spent more than$100-$140, which includes paying $24 to get all of us into the expo...So, I probably lost at least $100...........BOOOO HOOOOO!  And we had to go to another restuarant due to the 2 hr. wait...And DH said I could spend a lil more while I was at the expo but I didn't see anything and now I'm too upset to even think about spending that extra............But, I still enjoyed hanging with my DD and friend.......We can't wait to go to the one in October in Ontario, CA.... Hopefully, we'll be able to spend the night, do the make and takes and go to the crops.........

My DH picked a name from the bowl with eye's closed.... He missed a few times but finally picked.......................................ONE NAME.........................and........................................that.......................name..............................is.........

Vegas or bust

Here we are in Vegas for Valentine's Day..... Thought we'd go before DH had his surgery.........It was SOOOO windy when we got there.......Checked in and went back out to get our luggage.........We had to go through a huge open tunnel that had a wall running down the center.........We could lean into the wind and not fall on our face...... I followed DH through the right side, he made it through laughing all the way but the wind stopped me halfway with an extra gust so I forcefully made my way around the wall to the left side and managed to make it through.... We were laughing soooo hard.........We mostly stayed at our hotel... Ventured to Bally's Tequilla Bar for their famous INFUSED w/patron silver and some nacho's. We just needed to get away and spend some time together........And a very nice time it was to spend with my DH..... What is it about the bright lights in Vegas that just get you all excited??? This was the first time I've use my timer on my camera...........I think I'll be using it more often.......

I am leaving tomorrow to spend Valentine's Day with my Hubby..... I should be back around the 15th.......When I get back, I will do the random drawing for the stamp and flower box of goodies.........

I finally got my hand completely deglued from my face with that goo remover stuff.....Yea, my freckles are gone tooo....(tried sandpaper when I was 5 but that didn't work...Honest) I super heated the file with my Marvy embossing heat tool and I think I got rid of the sneezing powder......Of course, I'm now sporting a huge black, blue and purple sized large prima flower bump. I went back to HQ early this morning before anyone arrived in my black clothes and black face paint....Even on my eyelids....EWWWW, felt yucky........I did't know it but there was still some glitter in my hair and Stacey told Heather to put a special light by the secret passage that made my head light up like a disco ball... I almost did the John Travolta dance, Saturday Night Live..(is that what it was called) LOL You could probably see it all the way up on the Executive floor... ANd I saw someone up there with a glass coffee cup....I know this because my disco ball effect was reflecting back from the glass....And, whoever was up there had a loud speaker and was doing a evil laugh... Wuhahahaha buwawawaw...Thats ok, as soon as I figure out the whole code, we'll be LOAOATE (laughing our arses off at their expense)...One of the guys at All Moments remembered told me if I rub chocolate over the next line in the file, I'd be able to see it....(What! using chocolate! what a waste of my craving food) It said perimeter = 2x0.25+2x0.5=1.5.....The rest of the clue is at the All Moments Remembered forum...Drop by and join the hunt.. 00Patti

Here's my first LO from the Feb. kit from ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED..... I love the scalloped paper, fancy journal tag (used as a frame) and the chipboard/I adore you  from Creative Imaginations-Narratives/Karen Russel.....          Making Memories striped diecut artisan paper and old fashion lace were the perfect addition....... The cute love card is from Cosmo Cricket........ Some of the other things like the couple kissing are from Scrap Of Time at scrapoftime.typepad.com........... Heather at All Moments Remembered did a fabolus job putting this kit together.........I have more ideas on what to do with this kit and will post each item I create...  I can't wait for the March kit to come out.......................So, if you want the kits, go sign up for the subscription because they sell out quick.....Or you can wait until its revealed and take the chance that they don't sell out before you get one.  Alot waited and lost out..... They were very upset to not get this great kit..... The full kit is farther down on my blog, along with all the manufacturers names that are in the kit...  You also might find a clue or two of the March kit..

Here's my HUBBA HUBBA-HONEY when he was 18...  We're at the lake after he graduated from high school......If you notice, in the journaling, where it say's:  He's as hand- as ever.........It should say hand-some.....Kelli, one of the members at ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED pm'd me to let me know that PSE must have cut it off.......FUNNY!!  NO, I admit that I can't see the print most of the time since my eyes don't like the age I am..... And glasses only work great on paper, computer wise, its a little misleading. Besides, I was backspacing to redo that part and just forgot to add the ending of handsome....... A large percent of my LO's have some kind of mistake and I usually leave it in cause I'm definitely NOT PERFECT!  LOL  And I actually want my future grandchildren and beyond, to see it's ok TO NOT be perfect as long as you try your best.  

For the AMR ladies.......In my last post about my adventures into HQ at ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED, I was glued to a chair by the adhesive (remember sucking sound and smack, my butt is stuck to the chair...& rooster pecker pink, sorry Dad's saying) I ended up with adhesive, brads, prima flowers and pink paint all over me....A sight to be seen......And Miguel was hand feeding me chocolate, which he'd stuff into my mouth everytime I tried to tell you where they keep THE GOOD CHOCOLATE>>>>>HA HA  Like they'd tell me anything......HA HA HA 

Anyhow, I found a file in the drawer of Stacey's desk....She must have forgot about it while getting ready for CHA.....And who can blame her.....  Anyhow its coded, which I'll break as soon as I figure out where I put my B&E kit..... But this was on the front of the file.........What is it with crop circles.......SHHH! I'm using Stacey's computer and someone's coming... Which means I don't have time to check everything out on this baby....And I just know its full of all kinds of secrets for the rest of the year......Oh, the info it must have in it..........I found the secret passage way, so I'm headed home.....But I did manage to grab a good box of chocolate......YUMMY!  I do have priorities...........TEEE HEEEE

We've been outside off and on enjoying the beautiful weather... The DGK's are having a ball playing outside........

Here's the RAK for this week....  Studio G easter stamps and a goodie box from Target's $1 spot...  I saved one of those for myself.....I'll keep this open for a week or so, depending on if I remember the exact day of closing....LOL  Please leave a comment and I'll put all names in a hat or bowl and DH, DD or DGS will draw a folded piece of paper with someones name on it...

Not much going on....Been in a creative slump... I think I got a little burned out with all the contests and challenges....I'm sure Mr. Mojo is just waiting for his shot of Starbucks to get him going again.....I did do a digi LO but can't post unless I get the ok from someone that I borrowed a sketch from........I am working on one of my honey when he was around 18.  Hubba Hubba...Hopefully, I'll finish that today.  My signal for the internet keeps bouncing around so I have a hard time posting on my blog....I was at the SCRAPCHAT HOUR at ALL MOMENTS REMEMGED last night and my signal kept changing... Made it hard to post, so my chatting was kinda slowed down....Like right now, I'm down to a dot out of 5 and then to 2.  I either need a bigger router since I'm like the 3rd computer in the house or the cable co. change the speed on my internet...I think its the speed part.......Guess I need to make a call... Which I hate to do, takes forever to get a real person to talk to and they usually change something that has nothing to do with what I asked for at the time of my call.......Sigh..............         Don't know whats up for the weekend yet for us but I hope everyone has a super weekend with perfect weather...

Look at all the yumminess that was sent my way....  Well worth the wait..I was so giddy when the mail lady honked her horn....She handed me a red box and I wanted to walk no run back to the house and rip into the pkg... But I kept it cool.... Waved at her and walked slowly into the house and then ran to my scraptable to open the box...... I'm sooo looking forward to the next 5 months of kits I'm already subscribed to......

Here's the other LO from Friday's crop at All Moments Remembered.. Its fairly simple...I rushed to get it done and couldn't post it because I was having signal issues with my computer.  This was JINGLE'S challenge.  (something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue).  DGS love to drive us places... He calls this Poppy's stinky car...Poppy used this car as his work car... It always spelled like his clothes.  Since Poppy's been off work for a work injury, he let his DGS drive the car around town... He's taken us to the movies, out to eat, to the store, brought us fast food and showed us his driving skills...And he does a mean motor sound....Kids are just tooooo cute...

Not much going on here today....Superbowl, crop, lots and lots of wind.  I'm not going out to get blown around today, thats for sure.....Hope everyone has a great superbowl sunday................

I actually had a 4th LO that I forgot to upload.  It was the 7pm challenge by JINGLE.  We had to use something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue....I'll post it tomorrow...

My name was drawn for the 9pm challenge by DeborahM for using the transparency.  WHOOO HOOOO!  I'd like to thank the scrapping academy for this golden Crop o dile, I couldn't have done it without my supplies, camera and computer & printer.  (Tears falling and blowing kisses while doing the Miss America wave) I'd like to thank my DH, family, the ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED MESSAGE BOARD and Stacey(AMR owner) for sponsoring the crop.  I did miss some of the challenges.  I found it extremely challenging to try and complete each assignment in the 1 hour time limit... But I enjoyed the challenge and was surprised how much fun it is to create in such a little amount of time... I didn't set anything up the night before, except the pictures.... So, I really had to think off the top of my head on what I was going to do...I just can't seem to set things up ahead of time.... Like knowing the paper, bellies, embellishments for any given LO.... I create spur of the moment.... And I usually have at least 1 mistake in most LO's... I've learned to leave them their if they can't be fixed or covered since this seems to be part of my creative process.... LOL  Thats what I'm gonna call it.....

Oh yea, I forgot.... I found out last night at the crop, I won Jingles M2M CHALLENGE for January....My name was randomly drawn...WHOOOO HOOOOO.... TOOT TOOOT.........YIPPIE........YA HOOO....Sorry, I got all excited.... It was a fun challenge. We had to create 4 LO's (scraplift one, use a sketch for one, freeform and follow a challenge), 4 cards and 1 project of your choice.  Its on the bottom of my blog as a LO for the challenge....M2M Challenge>>>>
